After my previous post (last night) I remained awake staring at the ceiling till at least 11. I still managed to make myself crawl out of bed at 4:30, but it was quite the challenge and I ended up being late to the gym. Thus, unfortunately I only had time to do my run. I’m hoping that my sleep schedule will even out soon, especially with the time change coming up.
On a different note, though somewhat related, I am also working on decreasing my alcohol consumption. From what I’ve read alcohol decreases quality of sleep.
So I’ve added in exercise, going to bed earlier, and meditation. Next step is to start eliminating distractions and detractors like alcohol and junk food.
Run : 3 miles
Mile 1: warm up at 6mph
Mile 2: sw at 7mph
Miles 2-2.5: 6.6 mph
Mile 2.5-3: 6.8 mph
Now off to class & hopefully coffee.
