So just before I started this blog about the beginning of May. I have certainly not been perfect (who is) but I have been trying to keep up with my runs and lifts despite what life throws my way (trip up north/internship/summer classes/drama). Just before I started the blog I had a friend take “starting photos” for me so that I could have something to gauge myself against. I had my significant other take a few pictures last night, and here are the results.

So overall I think pretty solid progress. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m definitely getting there. I’ve lost about 3% bodyfat and put on 6lbs of muscle since my first check in. In addition my squat weight has gone up by 20 lbs, my row has improved by 10lbs, and my bench press is almost to where it was when I started slacking in January.
My next set of goals are:
Squating 150 for reps
Deadlifting 1.5 times my body weight
Bench press 100
Row 115 for reps
Body fat at 19%
I will check back in with myself at the middle of August to see how these are coming along.
