I had a late night Saturday night. I was supposed to be doing a long run of 16 miles Sunday but I just did not have the energy. I decided to go with the ‘something is better than nothing’ and got in a quick run. I feel like I should be disappointed in my lack of activity but to be honest I had a ball. It is sometimes necessary to let your hair down and relax. If I had more people following this blog I’d probably be criticized for that, but I really believe that to be healthy one has to care for their body and their mind. Exercise has to be consistent but a person also shouldn’t be so blinded that they ignore the other aspects of their life. Lift Happy, but also lift & be happy.
